8x10” print of my watercolor painting.

This is my interpretation of the Mowing Devil, from a 1678 English pamphlet recounting the story of a farmer who, outraged at the price he was given by a mower to harvest his oats, said he would rather the devil do the job. The following morning he awoke to find his field neatly mowed in concentric circles, as no mortal man could have achieved. This story is cited as an early example of crop circles, but of course there’s no real evidence.
